Welcome to our customer service main page. Here can find the answer to many of our frequently asked questions.
 
1. How do I find the particular print I’m looking for?
The search engine here at Fabric Paradise is pretty powerful. Aside from perusing the fabrics by category, the easiest way to find a specific fabric is to simply type a key word in the Search box at the top of the page and click “search”. All fabrics with that word in the title or description will be displayed for you. Try to use the simplest form of the word when searching, for example, if you were looking for a fabric with astrological signs, simply type, “astro”. If you don’t find what you’re seeking this way, please feel free to email us at Elka@FabricParadise.com or call 1-877-ELKAFAB and our knowledgeable staff will be happy to help. If you’re looking for a cotton novelty print produced in the last 10 years, there’s a good chance we either have it or may know where you can find it!
 
2. How can I place an order with you?
Ordering is easy at Fabric Paradise! Simply make your selections on line by indicating the yardage you want in the “Buy” box below or beside the fabric scan, click on ‘Buy’ and either ‘continue shopping’ or proceed to the ‘checkout’. Or, if you’d prefer, simply give us a call at 1-877-ELKAFAB (355-2322) and we’ll be happy to take your order!
 
3. What payment methods do you accept?
You will note at checkout that there are three payment options available to you. They are:

-Credit card (by phone or securely over the internet) We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Diners Club and American Express.

-Personal check or money order (by mail) Please note: for overseas orders, payment must be made in US funds (sorry, no personal checks from outside the United States).

-PayPal (online payment service using your credit card or checking account)

Simply place your order online, proceed to “check out”, and once you’ve paid for the contents of your “shopping basket” you will receive a printable invoice/receipt for your order. If you paid by credit card, you will receive a confirmation by email; If you elected to pay by phoning in your credit card, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with a reminder to phone in your charge card number; If you opted to pay by check or money order, you will receive payment instructions including our address;If you choose to pay using PayPal, you will be brought to the PayPal website to make payment.

Regardless of your payment method, once we receive your payment you will receive an e-mail confirmation from us within 24 hours of when you pay. If, for some reason, you don’t – please email us at Elka@FabricParadise.com or call us at 1-877-ELKAFAB.
 
4. How much of each print do you have in stock?
Generally speaking, we purchase our fabric by the bolt, which is usually 15-20 yards long. If you’re looking to purchase 15 yards or more of a particular print, please give us a call at 1-877-ELKAFAB so we can check our inventory BEFORE you place your order. This is because, with newer fabrics, we can usually get more for you if we don’t have a large enough piece; however, with discontinued prints we won’t be able to get more and we’d hate to disappoint you once you’ve already ordered and planned on receiving a certain amount. Please keep this 15-20 yard bolt size in mind if you need, say 35 yards of a print – it is unlikely you will be able to get that fabric all in one piece.
 
5. Do you sell fat quarters?
No, at Fabric Paradise we ONLY sell 'running yardage'; if you order a half yard of fabric you will receive a piece of fabric that measures 18 inches by 44 inches (equal to 2 fat quarters).
 
6. Are “sold out” fabrics going to become available again? Can you put me on a waiting list or back order it for me?
When we sell out of a discontinued fabric, we remove it from the website so we don’t tempt you with unattainable merchandise! If, however, the fabric is still available, we will mark it as “temporarily out of stock” and ask that you check back periodically regarding availability. The fabric mills are somewhat fickle, and too often we have been told a fabric will be back in stock only to find out that it is no longer available…that’s why we don’t keep a ‘waiting list’ for fabrics.
 
7. What does “limited yardage available” mean?
Once our supply of a particular fabric dips below 3 yards we mark it as “Limited Yardage Available”. This means that once we’ve sold the yardage we have, that fabric is gone. If, however, we can get more of the fabric, we will note “TEMPORARILY OUT OF STOCK” so you know that more is on the way in the near future. We will only do this for fabrics that we are certain will be re-stocked.
 
8. I tried to order 5 yards of a fabric but it shows up as 2 yards in my shopping cart? Why?
We are trying to keep track of our inventory using a program that ‘remembers’ our available stock and maintains it. It’s taking us some time to enter all this information, as you can imagine. If you try to order a fabric and find that the shopping cart won’t “let” you order the yardage you require, that means that the quantity of fabric remaining is less than the amount you are ordering. Feel free to email us at Elka@FabricParadise.com or call us at 1-877-ELKAFAB if this happens and we will be happy to let you know if we can get more of the fabric you’re seeking.
 
9. What is your return policy?
We want you to be happy with your purchase from Fabric Paradise! If you’re not happy please let us know and we will do our best to make it right. You may return your uncut fabric within 30 days and upon receipt we will refund the purchase price using the payment method you used to purchase (not including shipping charges). Please note: There is a 20% restocking fee for all returns. Special orders are not returnable.
 
10. Do you ever have sales? How can I get a coupon?
Be sure to sign up for our mailing list! We plan to run periodic sales and offer special coupons throughout the year to our repeat customers – stay tuned! Watch your email and our “Sale” section for specials!

11. Can you send me free samples of the fabric(s) in which I'm interested?
Sorry, we no longer offer free samples due to time and cost constraints. You can, however, order 1/2 yard cuts of any fabrics in which you're interested... simply enter .5 in the 'buy' box!
 
12. Do you sell or trade customer information to others?
NEVER. At Fabric Paradise, we never sell, trade or otherwise share your information (your name/address/phone/email address) with ANYONE, EVER.
